About us
We are in mission to help people in needs.
The Association was officially registered and recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippine Government on May 6, 1935 and was renamed as YWCA FOUNDER’S FEDERATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. upon approval by the SEC on February 9, 2019. It is the first and largest YWCA body in the Philippines. In fact, one of the biggest women major organization composed of forty two (42) founder’s chapters in various parts of the country and nine national committees on various youth organizations, institutional DepEd Principals & teachers and elderly aggrupation’s within YWCA FFPI national structure, having more than twenty five thousand (25,000) registered active members composed of women, youth and children. It continues to expand its membership, and envisioned to have at least thirty thousand (30,000) members in 80 chapters nationwide on its Centennial Year in October 2026. Another membership milestone is the inclusion of men in the general membership within the family Committee

Why we do this.
YWCA Founder’s Federation of the Philippines, Inc. traces its roots to 1921, when Filipino women came together with a shared belief: that empowered women play a vital role in building strong families and communities. From these early beginnings, the organisation was formally established in 1926 and has since grown into a nationwide membership movement.
For nearly a century, YWCA FFPI has remained committed to leadership, service, and social responsibility — grounded in Christian values and open to people of all backgrounds. Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we continue to support women and youth in becoming confident leaders and active contributors to society.
Today, with chapters across the Philippines, YWCA FFPI carries forward a legacy of inclusion, empowerment, and care — working together to create a more just, compassionate, and inclusive world.
